- SMI expands to manufacture API/ANSI Pumps under license from Ruhrpumpen, an internationally recognized technical partner. SMI vertical integrated business model allows it a complete control on each step of production in accordance to the approved quality standard from Ruhrpumpen.
- SMI API/ANSI pumps under its new licences covers a large span of Overhung Pumps in addition to packaging of a wide range of API pumps including Magnetic Drives Pumps, Between-Bearing Pumps amongst other types, increasing the capacity up to 1000HP.
